Krypton: Guess who’s an awesome cook! This guy!
You made macaroni. If it’s something that *I* can cook, you’re not allowed to brag about it.
Anyway, welcome to the LAST chapter of Krypton’s being torch holder! He’s been a great one, I swear. Got to his LTW and everything. We’ll see what he’s like when he’s not being controlled.
Since there’s only a few days left of Yttrium being a teen and Krypton has nothing else to do, I had him get a job so he can contribute to the family once Yttrium’s a YA. He got a job in the military, where Rubidium works. They moved out when Strontium aged up, by the way. Anyway.
And this is a picture of him calling a boarding school, not something work related. Oops.
Family outing time. I learned my lesson from before, that the parks don’t have much to do, so I sent them out to the literary cafe place, which I turned into a bar.
Krypton wants to be BFFs with Niobium, so I thought why not. And then I saw that he had the option to confess his attraction for Laurel. To Niobium.
Krypton: I think your mom is hot.
Niobium: Yeah. Kind of figured, since you slept together enough to have six kids. Ew.
Sorry, Niobium. : /
Krypton: So… tickets. What’s up with them?
Yttrium upholds the Mendeleev tradition of alcoholism.
I went to check out where everyone was, and Molybdenum was back home, sitting on the teeter totter all by himself.
That’s… kind of sad. But not as sad as Krypton’s relationship with Zirconium and, since the others are also past Zirc on the list, the other kids…
I suck at socializing my sims. : /
Yttrium: Well, since I’m drunk, I might as well read a pregnancy book so I’ll be prepared for any other bad decisions I might make today.
Krypton wanted to buy a drink for Niobium or something. Indoctrinate her into the Mendeleev alcohol dependance or something. I wasn’t sure what the effects of the different drinks were, so I just picked something random.
… I picked the wrong one.
Niobium: Um…. o_o
And it’s an aphrodisiac. Of course.
Niobium: Should I be worried, dad?
Krypton: I just picked a random name from the menu, I swear! D8
Molybdenum got someone to play on the teeter totter with him. I’m glad THAT plot line got cleared up.
Krypton helped Niobium with her homework.
And then taught her to drive. I took it like this because I thought there was something about reaching 100,000 LTH points, but I was thinking of the 100,000 simoleons score. We have a ways to go for that one.
And then Niobium got caught by the police as she tried to follow Krypton home. *facepalm*
Needless to say, we let her off the hook immediately. It wasn’t her fault that she couldn’t follow Krypton fast enough.
Krypton wanted to send Molybdenum to the sports academy, so I let him do what he wanted. It’s not like Molybdenum needs to stay here so we can see if we want him for heir or anything.
Molybdenum: I get it. I mean less than nothing to you. : /
Aw, sweetie. It’s just that there’s nothing for me to do with you when you’re not the TH.
Hey, we unlocked the fire department! Wait, that’s a different challenge. : /
NO EXCUSES, KRYPTON.
And Laurel has a bowl on her hand.
I took control of her for a moment just to see if getting her to ‘finish making’ or something like that would get her to finish with whatever was in the bowl and not have it stuck on her hand. No dice, so I ended up resetting her, and things were back to normal.
But when I took control to see if I could get teh bowl off, I saw THIS.
NOT. ON. YOUR. LIFE.
Laurel: But if you get up to twelve, you can be in the running for your own TV show!
Maybe we can have a 100 baby or WYD challenge later, dear.
Laurel: Looking for fathers would interrupt my painting.
Of course it would.
Just checking to see how many skill points some of the kids got on their own. Yttrium’s well on her way to being able to follow her dad’s LTW, but that’s boring so I’ll pick something else. If I was smart, I would have captured her in the picture as well, and not off to the side. : /
Zirconium’s kicking ass in the athletic skill though. Like, she had the wish to max athletic skill at one point, which generally only turns up when you’re a few skill points away anyway. I’d totally pick, like, the karate LTW if I was working with her as TH.
Yttrium: It’s my fault I kept her playing chess too long.
No it’s not, dear. You’re an angel. An alcohol-consuming angel.
Laurel got another promotion! Sweeet!
Nervous grew up. I want his face in my legacy. xD
They’ve been doing this for a while now, but I haven’t been fast enough to catch it until now. I could make fun of Laurel being a little glitch again, like with the bowl, but that wouldn’t be fair because it’s all of them that do it.
I made an executive decision that, because we had the portrait and lost it, telling Laurel to paint the portrait again doesn’t count as an action if I only count it as one painting of the TH rather than 2. That way, Laurel can also paint Yttrium’s painting when she’s an elder, and I won’t have to figure out who will paint the 3rd TH until they get here.
Molybdenum came back because he hated sports school.
Molybdenum: I’d rather be a cartographer.
You do that.
And then everyone has to stop and watch the chess match. Obviously.
Niobium: YEAHHHHH!!!! GO DAD!!!!!!!
I feel like Nervous Subject’s use of the chemistry table is a point for spouse-ship. Or something.
My problem with this town is that you can’t see anything because it’s freaking dark even in the day. But anyway, Krypton went off to visit Strontium.
They live in a super nice house. Even if I forgot to let everything render first.
Strontium: Yeah, this house is really clean. 😀 You’d think it’d get more dust than it does, but it doesn’t!
Krypton: Glad to see you’re happy, son. Shall we move away from the chandelier that blocks our speech bubbles from the picture?
Krypton: So… you have a bike or something to get around?
The portrait is finished! Next time, I will try to bring it with us in the move.
I’m not sure what she did.
ZIRCONIUM FAILS ONCE…
AND A SECOND TIME!
Molybdenum got to go on a date with one of the Doe kids…
And Zirconium had a date with Nervous Subject.
Zirconium made it home on time…
Someone else did not. I did not get a picture of him being scolded because…
We had a fire. : /
And then Yttrium and Nervous had heart farts, but they were apparently somewhere that I couldn’t get a picture of them.
Yttrium: I wanna be a scientist!
Hush. I can’t lock that in yet, and I’ve done it twice anyway.
Molybdenum: HELP! I can’t do my homework because I’m stressed!
Yttrium: Then read a book or something that will STOP you from being stressed.
This guy who might be Not-Klaus came home with one of the kids, and proceeded to stand in the exact place that would prevent anyone from playing against Laurel.
Good riddance, kid.
Pictorial evidence of Zirconium’s awesomeness.
And then Niobium got honor student.
As did Zirconium, which makes up for her previous failures just a little.
Molybdenum: How do you do that homework? Isn’t school just too stressful? I can barely pay attention to homework after I get home from school.
THEN DO SOMETHING TO RAISE YOUR FUN LEVELS!
I eventually sent Krypton out to teeter totter with him so he wouldn’t be complaining about stress as much. : /
Yttrium: Hee hee hee.
Ha! Caught you!
Yttrium: I’m just washing my hands. : /
And then she merges with Zirconium to create a new life form.
They were both trying to go into the shower at the same time. Zirconium got there first and set up a prank. Then Yttrium used the shower.
Yttrium: HOW DID THIS HAPPEN???
You SAW her pull the shower dye prank. *facepalm*
And then they grew up, but I don’t have any pictures of that because I didn’t feel like doing the makeovers at that time. But next chapter will have Yttrium as our TH. Our scores are…
Self Wetting : 7 -35
Fires: 4 -20
Passing Out : 4 -20
